Lockdown and writing.

It’s hard to assess your own writing during a pandemic because there’s no one to talk it through with. The same platforms for sharing work can’t be accessed. Having decided that writing is almost always better when shared, at least, it can only really get better when it’s shared, I asked some fellow poets whether they’d like to meet up virtually. We had some drinks, read some bits and encouraged each other to keep on going. This was a small step back to normality, the kind of normal we’re not quite used to yet but we’re getting there.
