Forward Inc host onboarding sessions for volunteer Coaches and Student Consultants before they start the programme. These were traditionally held on Zoom with low levels of engagement. The team now want to move to a Hybrid meeting set up and think of new ideas for how to keep attendees motivated and engaged.

In the session we facilitated the space for clarification on the audience needs and how this impacts the design of the Forward Inc onboarding sessions. We introduced the hybrid mindset with tools and techniques, along with an overview of new engagement strategies for hybrid sessions. The Forward team then began co-creating ideas and visions for how the onboarding sessions might work in the future, resulting in a 3 step plan for the next few weeks.

Understanding your audience and who you are designing Hybrid sessions for is crucial.

Hybrid poses lots of challenges, but plenty of opportunity for new exciting engagement strategies.

2.5 hours is a very precious amount of time to use with a team for new ideas. This session was invaluable for setting intentions moving forwards.
